WordSense is a fascinating fast-paced game that will test your ability at forming words. It is great for kids as well as for non-native English speakers since it can help you learn new words and improve spelling.
The goal is to reach the highest score possible by forming as many words as you can with the letters given in the rack. The trick is that words should interlock with each other, vertically or horizontally. The other problem is that each letter has a time bomb, and if you do not use them quickly, they just explode and disappear, leaving you with fewer chances of producing new words. The number of games to play is really impressive, as there is one per day, starting from the year 1900, which guarantees endless gameplay.
In WordSense you will find three different game modes to play, Speed Challenge, Infinite Game, and Round-based game, all of them equally dynamic and with a unique challenge for the mind, some of them even include bonus or mini games between levels.
You will enjoy a number of features like pausing the game and resuming it without abandon returning to the main screen, adding your own mp3 directory to listen while enjoying the game, full screen or windowed mode, etc. WordSense was developed by Adveractive and a free demo can be downloaded from their website.
